My wife was diagnosed with a relatively rare form of Blood Cancer (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Philadelphia Positive - ALL PH+) on 14 January 2010. She has undergone two rounds of chemotherapy till date in Kuwait Cancer Hospital and is undergoing further treatment that includes further rounds of chemotherapy.
Doctors have advised Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) for Jayashree as the final line of treatment. Bone marrow is taken from a donor. Unfortunately, her bone marrow typing has not matched with either of her two brothers and thus the requirement now is to find a matched unrelated donor (MUD).
